Last year’s NCAA Football 11 lived up to the “120 ways to play” motto and in the demo gave us eight teams to play with in four matchups with different styles of offenses. NCAA Football 12′s demo should release around June 14th, the Tuesday after E3. What should we expect from the NCAA demo?
My best guess would be at least 2 matchups, featuring teams that have new entrances into the game. One guess I’d think is Miami @ Florida State, as it is a rivalry game and Florida State’s entrance makes the game this year. And one main producer is well, a FSU fan. Another game we might see is Notre Dame @ Michigan, as it is another rivalry and Michigan’s entrance makes the game.
I’m only predicting what EA will probably do. It’s unlikely that we will be able to build a custom playbook in the demo – but you never know. It’s a 99.9% chance we won’t be able to try out the new coaching editor and Coaching Carousel, that’s almost for sure. Maybe they will be gracious and we will be allowed to have more than 2 minute quarters. Three or four would be nice, we can dream – can’t we?
One thing the demo will do for sure – it will bring us just a month from release and gets us a little more ready for NCAA Football 12. Post in the NCAA Football 12 thread on the forum and say what you’d like to see in this year’s demo.
