That’s right folks. Here’s a well kept secret to doing extremely well in your leagues: to do list apps, specifically hitask.

For those of you that don’t know, to do list apps and task management software is what people use to stay on top of things. Old schoolers may still use pen and paper, but that’s very basic.

With task management apps you’ll be able to create reminders that will automatically text, email, or notify you right on your phone or tablet. So, if you have a trade to make by X date, you don’t have to risk not making that move due to other things on your mind. These programs will literally be on your ass until you check your task off the list.

Another interesting little tool that I would like to add is Evernote. Pretty much whatever you want to save, whether a web page or notes, you can save on Evernote. What’s so good about that? Well, unlike saving things on your phone or computer Evernote lets you access it from anywhere. So if your game strategy is on your computer, but you’re at school, your out of luck! Not with this little neat app. Try it out and you’ll know why it’s so awesome within a few minutes.

The next thing that can really help you step your game up is ESPN’s Fantasy Games site which you can save on Evernote, so that you can analyze your tactics and set it up on hitask.

So to sum it up, these are the tools that have been helping the top GM around the globe:

  1. Hitask
  2. Evernote
  3. ESPN Fantasy Games
