Gonna go through and do an editor’s pick on the BCS bowl games and a summary on why I chose it and so on.
In what should be an exciting game, I am going to pick the Cardinals to win. I think Andrew Luck will have a great game against this defense to show why he should be the number one pick. Expect a high scoring game here in the Fiesta Bowl.
‘Monte Ball Touchdown.’ We’ve heard that a lot this season, and you shouldn’t expect to see that change in the Rose Bowl. Wisconsin is a solid football team, and their defense should be able to hold the high powered Oregon offense lead by LaMicheal James. Wisconsin knows what it’s like to lose in this situation and I don’t see it happening again this year.
A Big East team shouldn’t even be in the Orange Bowl in my opinion. Clemson is coming off a dominant showing against Virginia Tech, who is also a BCS team. They have had an exceptional year and I expect them to end it off with a win in the Orange Bowl against and average West Virginia team.
Virginia Tech 17-14
Two athletic Quarterbacks meet in the Sugar Bowl, both of them at large bids. This is probably the most underrated BCS game this year. Logan Thomas(SO) should be able to scavenger just enough points to hold off the Wolverines, who are coming off a victory against Ohio State their first in awhile. Denard Robinson is going to be hard to handle, but this Tech defense should keep him contained.
In a rematch of which LSU won 9-6, this one looks to be just as good. Alabama had their chances to win, but missed four field goals in regulation. Louisiana State did a good job of holding Richardson back and they are going to have to do it again to win this game. The super sophomore Heisman finalist Honey Badger is known for making big plays in big games, and we all know this is the biggest game of his young career. I think the LSU offense will get their game together and come out to play, but Honey Badger will score at least twelve of their points. Or two touchdowns, he can do so much for this team.
